WEBSITE RE-DESIGN

A re-design of a Merck consumer website incorporating a new campaign called "Confident Curiosity".

DESIGN

I worked with the marketing team to re-design a website incorporating a new campaign called "Confident Curiosity". The goal is to target vaccine hesitant parents with an empathetic approach.

"Confidence and curiosity are not in opposition-in fact many times gaining confidence starts with being curious. We welcome questions, once parents know all of the facts, it is easier to feel confident about the decision to vaccinate."

The aim was to have playful look and feel without downplaying the importance of the subject. I created a moodboard incorporating bright cheerful colors, fonts and imagery.

Design considerations: We were tied to a design system and strict site capabilities. I also needed to be aware of the multiple legal and medical reviews that were needed, as well as passing the WCAG 2.2 AA conformance level.

BUILD

Before handing off my high fidelity Figma prototype to the developers it was important I designed within the capabilities of Wordpress and the Merck design system components. This ensured a more streamlined hand off and a product with fewer adjustments needed on the back end.

Multiple updates have since occurred, including adding more features and content. I currently manage the updating of the Figma file, to maintain fluidity between the actual site and my files.

Next, a version translated to Spanish! Working on it.
